As part of it's summer meeting, the TRB Highway Capacity and Quality of Service Committee will be hosting a joint luncheon with NCITE which will be a panel for transportation agencies at the local, state, and Federal levels. Panelists will include Robin Hutcheson (City of Minneapolis), Jim McCarthy (FHWA), and James Rosenow (MnDOT).

Panelists will present on their experience with/agencies’ use of the Highway Capacity Manual (HCM), or lack thereof. This luncheon is an important step in understanding how the HCM is applied in practice today so that the Highway Capacity and Quality of Service Committee can plan for future research and updates. Local practicing professionals' input into the discussion will be very helpful for the committee.
